The Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville (BGCN) has provided opportunities for youth to enjoy activities and experiences that shape character since 1951. Serving youth from kindergarten to 12th grade, the BGCN provides positive and engaging programs that enrich the lives of a diverse group of members.
Last year, the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville served 2,306 members. No one was turned away because they could not pay the membership fee.
Between the Tom & Soni Sheehan Club, the Community Center, and Camp Crosser, we provide opportunities for children and young adults to enjoy activities and experiences that help shape character and offer new perspectives.
If you're ready to join the club please see our membership application button below or contact us at 317.773.4372 for more information.
Important Announcement FOR ParentS - After School Update
The Tom & Soni Sheehan Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville is committed to the youth and families in our community. In February, we created a Safety Committee to provide leadership for all aspects of safety, including physical and emotional safety of youth served, facilities management, and emergency management. This committee has been working through the challenges, questions, and decisions of operating the Club during the pandemic.
With the focus on the health and safety of our members and staff, the Board of Directors and Club Leadership, with the guidance of the Safety Committee, determined that a maximum of 120 children can participate in the 2020-2021 After-School Program. This decision was based on CDC and Hamilton County Health Department guidelines and recommendations that will allow for social distancing and safety precautions that need to be in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to limit our numbers to 120 and continue to provide transportation to the Club each day after school, we will only be accepting children who attend three elementary schools; North, Stony Creek, and White River. The child must attend in person, not virtually.
In addition, we will not offer open gym in the Community Center due to recommendations from the health department and our inability to trace an outbreak, should the need arise.
For the first time in our history, we will not be able to provide services to all who are in need. However, we will remain steadfast in providing a safe, fun and positive environment for those able to participate and will open our doors to more members as soon as we are safely able to do so.
As we have seen, the pandemic changes quickly and we will be constantly evaluating the situation and our ability to provide services. If cases increase, we may be faced with closing the facility and shifting back to our Virtual Clubhouse as a programming alternative. If the situation improves, we may be able to open up to more members and return to more normal environment. We will continue to be in close contact with our families as future decisions are made.
Our reopening date is slated for August 17th and registration will be open on our website in the coming days.
